Prior to coming to Miami I know that there is a lot of anxiety. Students have questions on where to live, what to study, what organizations to become involved in, and where are possible places of employment. I had some of these same questions when I arrived at Miami, and I wish someone took the time to inform me about these things before coming. Do I live with someone I know? What LLC do I choose? Only sign up for early classes if you are a morning person. If not- stay away from 8 or even 9 am classes. Try to schedual your classes in about 15-20 minutes in between. That way, when you are on campus you are going to class. If you have big long breaks between classes, its just that much harder to get out of your bed and go to class again. DO IT!
