I was 24 years old and a newlywed when my husband and I decided we wanted to start a family. Five months into our marriage and a pregnancy test later, it was confirmed. We were going to have our first baby! With the welcomed news came every emotion possible. Fear, anxiety, excitement, worry, joy, amazement. My head was instantly full of scenarios and plans, but I could never have planned for what was coming.

But I thought it time to publish an update for those who still follow this blog or who have stumbled on it and enjoy the content.

This is my first pregnancy and I am suffering from hyperemesis. It has truely been the worst time of my life and feel for anyone who has to suffer it too. Since I suffered hyperemesis 3 years ago I have gone on to wonder how I could help women who will suffer HG in the future. For me, HG was BY FAR the worst experience of my life and I am sure many women could say the same. So I thought its about time our voices were heard.

We were all sure labor was finally starting to move fast! I ended up not getting the shot and was admitted again.
