Monday, August 3, 2015. Why is it that to get to the rainbows we have to run through the rain? Why is it that when we chase a rainbow we can never actually reach it? No matter how close you get. Every time you get within reach it jumps away again. So, the truck is no longer operational. At least until he finds a new pump, which is apparently very expensive. We talk it over and he starts driving my car to school, then work, and home.
The Mystery plant in our compost pile. I have had a garden in the past but that was before chickens! The girls found a way into our garden even after fencing in the garden and fencing in the chickens we always ended up with half our produce pecked at! A flower on the pant with a honey bee.

Nesting Boxes and The Heat. July 31, 2015. Mister finally finished our nesting boxes earlier this week. The girls dont really seem to be using them very much. I do keep finding one egg, a day, in one of the boxes. But thats it, still just one egg a day. Im just so ready for the girls to be laying regularly but nothing I do is making it any better. All I can do now is wait! July 28, 2015. Momma Bird showed up bright and early with two beautiful new hens! Shes so funny. It was hot to the touch. Rus.PARSED CONTENT
