History of Photograpy Student, Ashley Cabrera,Fall 2010 LAGCC. I love the silhouette of Sargent in this photograph. this was one of the hardest ones to recreate and it took a while to set up a setting to get lighting from behind my subject.

This is a collective of photographs that have been mimicked or recreated if you will, to emphasize the beautiful curvature of women through subjective lighting. The formation of the body including the soft diffused light, curvature suggesting the delicacy of the feminine body. Both textured and smooth surfaces share a platform with flowers, all beauty and grace but fragile.
