In other words, a site built to web standards should ideally be lean, clean, CSS-based, accessible, usable, and search engine friendly.
Background I used a black to light gray to black gradient background in a fixed position. Banner I placed the Rollings Photography logo on the left side and the contact information on the right side. Navigation I used button created in Fireworks. They are white, rounded buttons with a black outside bevel. I added a black inner bevel for a rollover effect.
On March 15, 2010 by katelindley. There are so many different designs of websites with each of them trying to sell or explain their product. I particularly like ones that have a 3-D design to them. I think with an image standing out from the web site, shouts out at you! The image itself can sell the product.
