Survivor turned advocate, speaking out one sentence at a time. I used to be a survivor of sexual abuse, but now, I am a thriver, determined to spread awareness. I am also a sister, daughter, friend, baker and writer who stopped searching for temporary bandages and found solace, acceptance, and healing in God. My past has shaped me, but it does not define me.

I noticed that the web site stated " When I was a kid I remember getting told off all the time by my teachers for daydreaming." They also stated " I would stare out of the classroom window and get completey absorbed in another world, no racing thoughts or worries, it was bliss. And I remember being chastised for it all the time and believing it to be a bad thing. It even showed up on my school reports needs to do less daydreaming. Go on a mental holiday.
