Month by month planning our trip. We were finding that the process was rather slow at this stage! Our youngest popped back to see us at the beginning of the month, which was a welcome distraction from the current frustrations of the planning! Now, there seem to be two schools of thought on.

How did we get to this point where we are planning something potentially life changing, and at the very least a once in a lifetime experience at our advanced ages? Well, it goes something like this. We met at college in 1974. At that time we were both studying teacher training, but in actual fact we spent 3 very happy years learning about the world and independence.
