J, 2 days shy of being 5. E finished his winter soccer session and is now in his baseball season. J and I will be cheering the team on while eating ice cream. E has also taken up skateboarding. J is still loving his bike. He and his buddy from preschool bike a lot at the playground. CF has kicked off the fishing season with a night time fish trip in the kayak.

As I start to unwind from the chaotic fun of the holidays and perhaps collect my thoughts into some sort of cohesive piece of writing, I keep returning to thoughts of my mother.
