And the least fun of the NOT fun diets, is the low-carb diet. When Jason and I first turned to low-carb, we dropped weight FAST. I lost just over 40 pounds in a school year. This past year, with the stresses of selling our house and a new living arrangement, we focused less on dieting and more on figuring out the best way to get back on track financially. Stitching together the light of other days. Sometimes small things make me happy. It has been a couple of weeks of a little progress on many things. And so, in a little bit of holiday-time, I started cutting for a spring quilt. This one is just for us.
I wrote this post in my head on Thursday, ready to draft Thursday night, polish Friday morning and post. So here it is Saturday afternoon . well, better late than never. The pattern is The Easy Ombre Slouch Hat. Quick and easy stranded knitting makes for a very nice ombre effect.
