Journalism vs Media Career vs Job. April 16, 2015. During last nights Izzy Awards at Ithaca College. Sirota said there are plenty of jobs in the media but not plenty of jobs in actual journalism. Here lies my problem. I would love to be the sort of journalist Sirota described one much like Sirota himself. While I may not be business savvy and uncover stories about pension corruption.
