August 6, 2014. Now that I have had over a week to reflect back on the happenings before and during Ironman, let my emotions come down and most of all get some rest, here is my race recap. The couple weeks leading up to Whistler were good. I was not as antsy as I thought I was going to be during taper. I did have one challenge which at the time seemed Mount Everest. Alta lake is something else! Thank you Mark for volunteering and being there for us! Swim- 3.86 kms. Once that cannon goes off, all hell.
