Entrance courses available in Year 10 and 11. The Entrance courses are for all students to follow as the starting point for putting together a programme for Island Futures. They will need to pick from core subjects such as English and Maths and add the other choices in Languages, Sciences, Humanities, Arts and Technologies that will suit them best. These GCSE and IGCSE courses are Entrance level courses which .

There is more in you than you know Kurt Hahn. Students will follow the Escape programme for all of years 9, 10 and 11. Students will combine finding out about their health and fitness with making sensible choices about how to improve them. They will undertake a series of activities chosen from a wide range of possibilities over the three year period. How does Escape work? What sort of activities will be available? There will be activities that are more individual as well.

The real magic of discovery lies not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. What will students learn in Explorations? Several of the units that students will study over the three years will be drawn from the content of the Cambridge Global Perspectives IGCSE course. This is split into three parts. Students are required to complete two individual research reports on a question that they have chosen.

Entrance courses available in Year 9. Entrance courses are the basic courses in the main subject areas. They generally follow British GCSE or IGCSE curricula and lead to examinations and qualifications in each subject. We may also add some BTEC level 2 courses in the section as well. Typically each course span two years, although we plan to build in more opportunities for students to take when they are ready for them and so spread the exam courses over 3 years.
