Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Well, its hard to believe that it is already the 3rd of July. Growing up, and well really until I moved to San Diego, the 4th of July was my FAVORITE holiday! As a kid, I got up early on the 4th and started firing off black cats, making bombs, and blowing up everything I could. or at least setting it on fire! On my way to work yesterday, I got hit by another car. It was sudden and unexpected, like everything that happens. It was just another morning. It was just another day. Bang My little car was destroyed. Last night I stood on my porch and watched fireworks. It surprises me, even now, after all of these years, how beautiful and magical and full of wonder they seem. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. I love the 4-H fair in our town. I am not a farmer and I actually never lived in a place that had 4-H clubs when I was the right age to participate. We do live in the country and I love watching the crops grow in the fields around our house. And the food is fantastic! Anyone who came by and wanted to put some stitches was welcome to do so.
