Ems Russian Adventure Just another Brit Abroad

The thought of Siberia evoked images of a sub-zero wasteland, and although I knew that it would be hot I had no idea what the landscape would be like. The last day in Novo Jack took me to the Botanical Gardens, which turned out to be untouched forest, it was very peaceful. Then we head to the beach so that we could relax in the 32 degree heat.

A Year of Snow

As of September 2011, I shall be living and studying in Irkutsk, a small city in the Russian Federation. Watch this space to keep up to date on news from the eastern fringe of Siberia. Tuesday, 26 August 2014. Two years ago my time in Irkutsk came to an end. And whilst I yearn to return some day, there are still those who, just as I did almost three years ago, head out there to experience a similar such adventure.
