Sidste weekend tog vi sammen med nogle venner toget til Alexandria, Egyptens næststørste by med 3 millioner mennesker. Alexandria ligger i det nordlige Egypten ud til Middelhavet hvilket sammen med en mindre befolkning bevirker at luften er nogen renere end i Cairo. Det var en befrielse at stå ud af toget og tage en indånding helt ned i lungerne uden fornemmelsen af at trække vejret fra en bils udstødning. Jul og Nytår i Cairo.
