As I look through the pictures from WYSE 2015 on Facebook I feel tears welling up. Im just so happy to be able to say I was there, I was part of all of that beauty. Thank you. It feels so different to have no idea what my day entails. Last week we woke up every morning with a set plan. Its not like that at home. All I know about today is that I go to work later and I get off at some point ha. Idk why it wont let me upload pictures. .but heres me! Im so excited to be a part of WYSE 2015! My experiences at the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment. This is my blog dedicated to my time at the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment from June 28-July 3. Stay tuned! July 3, 2015. Hopefully by using the knowledge I learned here I can make a difference. Today was our last full day. We went to DC, only after a security scare.
Today we visited the National Geographic museum. We got to see speakers who talked about the young explorer program. We then got to see a panel of people who were involved in the Chesapeake Bay case, which we later did a simulated trial about. After that we got to go through the exhibits in the museum. After that we saw a speaker who talked about college, then did our simulated trial. Getting packed up and ready to leave tomorrow.
