Foam board covered with wadding, torn fabric strips with stitching and wrapped with transformer wire. 2 layers of felt swirled with the embellisher. Foam board wrapped in felt and knitting yarn. Covered in wadding and tights. Suffolk puffs at the ends and wrapped with yarn round the middle. Cotton ball wrapped in tights with knitting yarn woven through linen threads. Tube of fabric twisted and sewn to make a rose shape.
Ch 9 Fibonnacci sequence and Golden Section. These are my tonal columns using 4 different papers. Also some designs naturally lend themselves better to one format or the other and others conform well to both.

1 shows prints made using ink and two different sizes ovals cut from a rubber. I was pleased with the different shades that this produced where the ink was thicker in places. 2 was produced by dipping the hollow end of a marker pen into ink. This created interesting variations as the ink sometimes formed a bubble thus creating some solid shapes amidst the hollow shapes.

Monday, August 17, 2015. So happy to be quilting again. Look at this beautiful quilt in the frame. This is being quilted by hand with some great pebbles. Planning on different size pebbles in different areas. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Farm Girl Vintage on my wall.
