Before this class began, I had mixed feelings about it. Half of me was dreading taking a class that consisted of only writing. The other half of me was excited to gain the skills to successfully write a college paper.

Yup, this is a blog. I think that I have gotten better at explaining how I feel in my writing. I find it hard to organize my thoughts and ideas when I write but this year, thanks to all the writing projects, I have gotten used to organizing my words to better convey what I want to say.

Adventures of a sleepy college student. One of the most significant experiences in my life was a missions trip I attended in July of 2011, the summer of my Junior year in high school. We traveled to San Francisco, California to do service with YWAM. This week of my life deeply effected my thoughts on the homeless and how we should treat one another as human beings.

When I thought back to all of the writing that I have done over this semester, I was surprised at how much it was. I have written four essays, about 48 comments and 16 blog posts, including this one. That is a lot of words! After reflecting over this semester, I am happy that this course was required. If it was not required, I can assure you that I would not have taken it.
