When I was young I belonged to a contesting club. We ran all kinds of speed events including barrel racing, pole bending and more. It was common, back then, for horses to refuse to go into the show pen. I think horses go through many of these stages too. What does the red flag point to? They also stated " About Wester Avenue and me. In Bloom enjoying outdoors. The earliest of the daffodils they come in early, mid and later spring blooming varieties. My year in flowers starts with violas or daffodils. Im not sure why one or the other wins the race to bloom first. Is it daylight or snow melt or soil heat?
