The Adventures of an English Teacher. Hello again from China, and long time no post. I am sorry it has taken me so long to sit down and write the going ons of my day to day life. This will be the first of 3 posts mentioning the major travels I have had in the past 4 months. On this trip to Qufu I decided not to visit the Kong Family Mansion, mostly because I wanted to catch my bus without a problem, but I also knew Mary and I would be visiting in the summer.
My name is Jenna Holmes and I would like to welcome and thank you for visiting my Educational Portfolio. I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina and I teach 1st grade in Pineville, North Carolina. Although outside of the Charlotte metro area, Pineville is still considered part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. In 2006 and will complete my Graduate Studies in Literacy Education in April of 2011 at MSU.
Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Of course there are things I am going to miss about my life in Paraguay. I will miss the freedom most of all. I will miss being able to sleep in whenever I want. I will miss the kids that I have formed relationships with. I will miss my dog, Maddie. But really, I am so ready to move on. That is the news for now! Sunday, January 2, 2011.
