Cause sometimes I even surprise the knit out of myself. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Return of the knitting mojo results in pre-Rhinebeck FOs! So I fully recognize I have been an awful blogger this year. Part of my silence has been due to my lack of crafting mojo. I never really intended this blog to just be a diatribe of my daily ramblings, but really my crafty endeavors. The mojo, well it was dormant for almost 7-8 months.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Just a guy making his way through life." I noticed that the web site stated " September 9, 2013 by Jax Riley." They also stated " Like this morning, for instance, I saw these boots I flipped over. They are really cool, kind of Steampunk-ish, theyre a bit unusual and I think perfect for me. So I thought Id click through and see where to buy them. Nope-clicking took me to Tumbler where it dead ends. Does anybody out there have any idea who designed these or where they can be purchased? Monday, August 10, 2015. Renaissance Waistcoat and Black Kirtle. I love the swish in the skirt! The kirtle is made from black linen and black cotton drill. The waistcoat is made from a silk my husband had gotten me in Thailand. I am not very good at guessing fabric types but if I was to guess its a dupioni. There are some minor slubs and color variations. It has a little body to it but is not as stiff as most taffetas. I used silk ribbons for the center front ties.
