Overall it was a great experience. Building something like this was something I had never done before. All though there were times of heartache and suffering this was balanced out by all the fun I had building the robot and watching the robot fight! Looking back on it I feel we could have done a lot better in the competition if we had started preparing things earlier. Everything was rushed during the last week and we just ran out of time. We were too relaxed during the weeks leading up to battle day.
Hitachi pulls through! Today was the day of the competition. The main aim of the battle is to push the other robot off the 77cm diameter table. Myself and Hilal decided to take ap.
I must admit, this project really taught me a lot, not only how to code and how to put together a robot but it taught me how to work in a team to achieve a common goal. During the 12 weeks of this project we have had to work analytically t.
Also i would recommend that you do not get your entire team working on the same part of the robot as having to many people working on the same part can actually slow things down and also other tasks will not get done as needed.
