Recognized for his photography, he was selected as one of three inaugural Brandon Fellows of the Greenville Center for the Creative Arts. And he asked me to work with him during this time as a mentor. Anthony created the popular Facebook page.
My final project was inspired by the work of William Eggleston. All of the following images were taken from the backside of my home town in Woodruff, SC. When driving through the town of Woodruff, people see the small shops and smiling faces. Why would they? December 2, 2015.
This gallery contains 21 photos. Ulm, Germany by Mary Katerina Hoeser. She probably chose this picture to end her series since cotton picking in the south was mainly done by slaves. So, it seems like she used this as a metaphor for her racial theme in the series.

Since we have learned a lot in class about street photographers, I have been interested to attempt to capture some good photos from Downtown Spartanburg. First of all, I learned that street photography is a lot more challenging than I first thought! Reflection on Visiting Artist Talk. If Black lives matter, we should ignore racial stereotypes come to mind all too easily, and see everyone as our brothers and sisters.
My final project is inspired by Andy Skillen, a British photographer who focuses on shooting wild animals. In his photographs we can feel the power and beauty of the wild nature. So I wanted to try shooting the animals for my last project. This might reduced the quality of the pictures. The biggest secret of improvement is practice. Final Project- A Chinese Daily Life. This gallery contains 20 photos. I cropped these just because it looks rare on street. I like the first one. The female is really confident to carry that on street. It definitely watched my eyeballs. And for the second one, I assume its about an advertisement. But it is still fun to capture that.
Sunrise- Newark, New Jersey. I thoroughly enjoyed having Anthony Milian come in and talk to our class about his work. I loved seeing what inspired him to do his work and see what a local artist is doing. I think he is very talented and started two very important projects. Anthony helped me realize that we might not be able to change the world in a day, but we each have a voice we can use. I absoloutely think both of the google earth.
