Misery, Elation, and Science-Based Medicine. Friday, March 9, 2012 A room with a view. Apparently scar tissue is not an unusual side effect of abdominal surgery. Ugh! Talk about putting a cramp in my side. I spent four days with the lovely RNs and PCTs of Virginia Mason. They provided wonderful nurturing care. And i was very fortunate to have my favorite friends and loved one visit me. It has been two years since.
I am in the process of making the blog at its new URL a more useable archive of my experiences so bare with me.
This is how the UC used to make me feel. Search, Search, Survive. I am 37 and a teacher. I am a happily married man with 2 boys aged 13 and 10, and we live by the sea. I have had UC since about the age of 30. These are the ramblings of man trying to come to terms and deal with a chronic disease whilst maintaining some sort of normality.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Jiving on Regardless My Ulcerative Colitis and JPouch Surgery." I noticed that the web site stated " April 21, 2010 Pain Relief." They also stated " Following a comment I had on my last post about having the coil I decided to speak to the Pharmacist about pain relief. Since having the damn thing put it in I have had constant bleeding and constant period like pains most annoying! Given my obvious medical history im more than fully aware that you have to give things a chance so I am sticking with it but not for much longer if this continues."ANALYZE MORE BUSINESSES
Friday, January 08, 2016. Anti-abortion domestic terrorism turns out to be stalker ex-boyfriend of Planned Parenthood employee. A Planned Parenthood facility in Thousand Oaks had a window broken, gasoline poured in and a small fire started. The fire was quickly extinguished by the sprinkler system. Well, it turns out abortion had nothing to do with the arson. A man has been charged in the case and he happens to be an ex-boyfriend of a Planned Parenthood employee.
Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Merry Christmas and Our new arrival. Saturday, July 27, 2013. The community had a fun little safety fair where the kids could get inside the ambulance, fire truck, and command station. The boys really liked the fire truck! They also had Chester Cheetos there. not too shabby! This is an old storage building for grain and such. the boys thought it was a great place to hang out! .
