This semester I learned what it means to be media literate. I learned how the media impacts our culture in various aspects. The way we talk, dress, and acquire morals is through the power of the media. I am more aware of how the media influences us as a culture and the decisions we make everyday. Acquiring these skills have allowed me to critique my fellow classmates. In particular, I learned that just like in t.
To round out the semester, we were asked to provide feedback on the blogs of our peers. I really enjoyed browsing around on their blogs and seeing what tactics they used in their writing that differed from mine. If I had to offer some advice on how to improve further posts, I would touch upon the concepts we are learning in class.
Watching this film on advertising, I learned that advertisements on commercials and billboards have a huge impact on the lives of many. Also how the people behind them degrade mainly women in the images and commercials to get a point across. In my Media Criticism course at Towson University.
