Welcome one and all to the first blog post of many, in this my third and final year at the Academy. It seems like only yesterday I was writing my first post, and now I find myself with only 9 months of study to go before no longer being able to call myself a student. Where did all the time go? The last two weeks have been a mixed bag of great and mediocre. I have enjoyed the last week in particular, learning about the process of the production week from beginning to end. In summary, these classes have been helpful and educational. I feel pretty confident about the coming weeks and I think I will learn all my real lessons on the show. I feel grateful I have the chance to get taught all these things that a lot of stage managers have to learn on the job.
