Make-it-Wales aims to celebrate, 3D makers from Wales and specifically from the BA Ceramics and Jewellery course at Coleg Sir Gar- Carmarthenshire College and exchange ideas with the wider world of art, design and craft. As a cross discipline group of six people it was never going to an easy task to collaborate together but at the last minute it did all come together and we able to combine new aspects from these within our work. Outside of university we all had busy lives so arranging meetings to discuss progress was not always as smooth as I would have liked. Wearables collaboration displayed on my bark stand. I collaborated with almost every person in our group, beginning with a piece of weave for texture.
The scariest moment is always just before you start. Ash wood with olive leather. Powder coated steel frame and snug table top. A component based table; ash, powder coated steel, leather and brass bolts. We took a ride on the Big Red Bus today. It was a double-decker bus. I got to go to the top floor. We used it to see sites as in the Washington Monument, the Spy Museum, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the Space Museum. Today we visited the Jefferson Memorial and the Air and Space Museum.
