Friday, April 18, 2014. Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. We live in a time in which post-apocalyptic tales abound. There is the recognition that something has indeed claimed the body politic, but not something good. There is the awareness that the scales have been tipped or that a bridge has been crossed, and the ropes of the bridge are frayed and perilous. We devour flesh, but are not satisfied.
