He who began a good work in you. Will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. A couple of weeks back we attended Winter Retreat at Camp ACCOVAC in Clifton Forge, VA. It was a great retreat because we had 88 campers and helpers from all four of the conference camps. There were some new faces as well as some not so new faces that we are growing more and more attached to.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Sharing life and love with my family and friends." I noticed that the web site stated " I cant believe it has been more than 6 months since I last wrote." They also stated " It has been a time of many adjustments for our family. John is adjusting to working just one job. That sounds like it should be an easy thing, but it has actually been much different than he imagined. I like having him around more. We think Seguin was not greatly impacted. I dont have confirmation on this yet but Seguin does not seem to have felt the quake very much. Seguin is the home of 5 of our 6 boys. I hope to hear soon whether their families are well. Mackenson is in the North of Haiti, safe and sound with his family. Keep praying and giving-Mackenson is well. Our hearts are with our boys.
How wonderful to have at last a place where I can share recipes with my friends. I love cooking it is a passion and not as much an art but it was born out of desperation, a love for people and a desire to create and bless.
