Twists insides that show on my outside. The pit deep within. Steals breath and dreams. Threatens and beckons me. I circle its dark,. Straining as it bends me, pulls tightly. I break for freedom. They tip me towards the abyss. I cannot let them down. But how can I be me? July 31, 2015. Life worn and battered. Flying over rough seas. The memories so heavy. Pulling down towards the deep blue. With its promises of cool silence. Yet still she flies. Stronger than she knows. She heads towards her summer.
