I have considered myself to be a constructivist educator for a few years now. I believe that it is important for students to develop their own knowledge and construct their own meaning from what we do in class. Up until recently this applied only to the material that I delivered to them.

The site had the following in the homepage, "I enjoyed reading Jamie Forrests post about the Power of Social Media." I noticed that the web site stated " I have a similar story." They also stated " While walking at the Nature Center where I work, I found and photographed a flower with which I was unfamiliar. I took it back to my office and put it on Flickr in the ID Please group. Within 20 minutes, I had my answer! Ive used the ID Please! Response to Classmate blog. You Got That Right! November 14, 2010. We are done of the telecollaboration project it only lasted for 2 months. The actual Skype chats took like 5 times or 6. Many students did not continue blogging; they depended on Skype conversations. Also, they talked about different things other than what they wrote their blogs about. So, they felt that writing the blogs has no use. I have not figured this out as to solve this problem; how to connect blogging with Skyping.
