The Junior Leagues of Georgia acknowledge that children are spending more and more time online, leading to the increased risk of predation and other cybercrimes. As there are few means of controlling the safety of the online environment, we support the development of comprehensive online safety programs, laws to prevent and prosecute cybercrimes, and educational programs to help children avoid this type of victimization.
