Preparing News Media for a Campus Event. For the last assignment of the semester, we prepared a media package for a campus event. This included a press release written in a news style, an 8. 5 X 11 original advertisement and a one-minute broadcast script. Overall, I felt like I at least got a little taste of all three aspects of sharing announcement-type media regarding an event, and it was fun.
