Has been some time since my latest post. Has a funny name, Jack-jump-up-and-kiss-me. Have been busy with repair work at home and cameras have stayed in the bags. An old water mill structure in Kainuu. I used NDX400 filter to increase exposure time.

Neljäs vuosi peräjälkeen lunta ja pakkasta paossa Kapkaupungissa. Nyt on sama hieno paikka Greenpointissa kuin oli viime vuonna. Katselin taivaalle ja aurinkohan se siellä. Parisataa sorsaa kellui rannassa kun aurinko tippui rantaa kohti. Oli ehkä värikkäin auringonlasku mitä minä olen nähnyt.

Yesterday we had big waves in Cape Town. Cormorants were flying along the coast. We escaped from the coldness of Helsinki to the sweet heat of South Africa for more than one month. Has been really cold in Lapland, down to -40 degrees C. Still no snow here around Helsinki. Black birds are many and really fearless.
