I created this poster for Jared for Christmas in 2012. I created this poster for my brother Brayton for Christmas in 2012. I took a series of photos of him going over a 90 foot jump.
September 15, 2012 - Leave a Response. September 14, 2012 - Leave a Response. I added a few effects to the image in order to make the colors less vibrant so that the word welcome pops. I am very pleased with how it turned out. All the neon signs in vegas were totally fun. One of my favorites was this sign. Outside of the cheesecake factory they had a huge aquarium and my favorite fish was definitely this little guy.
For the Contest assignment, I took on something close to home, as I all of my photos have come from this area. I figured that the specific pictures I had to offer, having been taken in the Idaho Falls area, would be appropriate additions to the contest. That, plus the free, last minute, online entry, solidified my choice over various other contests. 3 Idaho Falls, ID.

A Walk by the Tracks. The angles and diminsihing path of the train tracks and train creates a unique angle for protraits. A Train and a Blue Sweater. I love this photo because of the contrasting colors of the gal and the rusty train. the blue and her eyes seem to pop with color.
This competition was to capture the idea of celebrating freedom. I felt that this was a good representation of that, especially since one of the main reasons our country was created was for religious freedom. I am a patriotic person and so I was excited to take part in this competition. It made for a great opportunity to reflect on the real reasons we celebrate the 4th of July. This project consisted of making 12 icons that go together in a set. I wanted to do something that I was passionate about, and the first thing that comes to mind is skiing. So, with that in mind, I made icons that remind me of my ski adventures with my family every winter. Making my icons started with sketches. My sketches were kind of a mess! It started off pretty rough.
Here are the new photos added to my final photobook! All of the photos above were taken in Bannack, Montana on a class trip. Bannack Ghost town is a preserved town from the Gold Mine era.
