Katies Travel Postcards

Katies Travel Postcards. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. April 3, 2016. So, the catalyst for this post? Weve bought a campervan. And so far, with the music up loud, the sun shining and our happy family of three on board, the travel bug lives on and lives loud. So after a short lived deliberation about building a cabin in the garden to create a third bedroomoffice, we decided that actually, life was for living and a campervan was a much better option. US, California, Los Angeles. We spent the 27th exploring the coast north of Cambria. Despite having driven it from San Francisco, sea mist had enveloped the entire coastline from Big Sur to Cambria and made visibility pretty poor. In fact, it was more like the Carebear highway than the coastal highway! However, the freeway was a walk in the park compared to getting out of LAX. Thankfully there was ice cold beer waiting for us when we got back. San Simeon by the Sea.
