Tuesday, August 4, 2015. A time to get some things cleaned, organized, painted and off my to-do list. Here are some pictures of my living and dining room make-over. Gone are the tired and dated green and yellow walls replaced with a soft gray. A new-to-me couch found at the thrift store. I am in love with it! I believe it was meant for me - a gift from God who knew my love for yellow and my very small budget.

Finding the perfect handbag is like finding the perfect man. A metaphor for our times. It was a defining moment. Searching for a pair of 3D glasses in a darkened movie theatre in a handbag which had swallowed them up. Why? Is it too much, I ask, to have a bag that carries everything? Hmm, maybe that.

In the end the endeavor was well worth it, as the end result was nothing either of us expected, but that we both loved.
