Jamie and Keshia will focus on why fluency is important. Amy and I will focus on effective strategies for fluency instruction. Destiny will focus on fluency assessment. Aligning theory and assessment of reading fluency.

I will research the effects of mentor texts on reluctant writers. I will focus on three students and use a unique mentor text for each. Aaron and I will be working together and comparing the results of the six students we have participate in this research.
