Sunday, January 2, 2011. Well, my blogging self has at least. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. 101 Set up a meeting with K. Less than a month to go in the 1001, where did the time go! Friday, July 30, 2010. There is something about the actually hailing of the cab that makes me smile. Stepping out into the street, hand held high, face forward looking as confident as possible. I mean, how Sex and the City is that? But, then again, there are only 60 days.

Monday, November 26, 2012. During our first semester this school year, Kindergarten through Second Grade excitedly explored the possibilities of paper sculpture. As they constructed these whimsical structures, inspired by playgrounds. And other fun places to play. We began this unit by discussing the difference between 2-dimensional. We talked about all different kinds of sculptures. We referenced the art of origami.

We Yam What We Yam

Sunday, December 14, 2014. Thoughts on the First Year. The reality of life once you entered was what I had both prayed for and what I later prayed against. I so desperately wanted a baby that I could rock and love and would be content to never be put down. I got a baby who demanded to be rocked and loved and would scream for hours if put down. You nursed like a champ. Which means every second of every day and night. And then your Uncle Jerry died. Someone to be a Christie to my Jerry.
