The adventures of my first-year English blog. Before taking this course, I would say my writing was mediocre. Not bad, but definitely not great. I stumbled upon my own ideas and over complicated them when they were put on paper. This is where I think the most valuable skill I took away from this course is the concept of a project. If I had to choose something that I thought improved my writing the most out of anything I would say that it was keeping a blog. Throughout the semester we were given blog assignments that were due at the end of each week by midnight. These assignments would usually relate to what we were focusing on in class, whether it was.

Chasing the muses that bring the sparkle to our lives. The creative spirit is alive and well, and this is an attempt to celebrate the creative muses that reside and thrive within us. I am always in awe of people who have harnessed that ability and have done something great with it. They inspire and encourage me and others to go for it, and to use the God-given talents we have to celebrate life! This semester I have learned a good number of techniques that I can use to improve my writing for the college. Some of which I have struggled to do so far and others that I have been using for years now.
