December 7, 2009 by elbaack. My favorite poem that we hav read in class is OCaptain My Captain. It was easy to read and understand. I thought it was easier to understand than some of the other poems we have read. This one though was my favorite. December 6, 2009 by elbaack. December 5, 2009 by elbaack. I had forgotten a book for free reading and asked LynZ if she had an extra. she had like five stashed in her locker. I love it so much! .

I like the O Captain My Captain piece. So that way I got to see the poem from two different perspectives.

I had thought that Nick and Jordan were going to get married and have children. But my ending was too predictable. The real ending seemed much more interesting and sad. What did you learn by working in groups as large as you did? How will this help you in the future? Response to Act lll.

I noticed that the web site stated " My favorite poem so far is the one called I Hear America Singing by Walt Whitman." They also stated " I like this poem because its sweet and simple to the point, which makes it very easy to understand. I also like the way he phrases things and his ideas. I would have never thought to write a poem about that, but he has good ideas that come out great if he puts them in writing! What are you reading in your free time? The cadence and the flow of the words are the only thing i think you need to make a poem. I was definately not .
