Today, I learned that 1and1 has a bit of a goofy issue concerning the version of php that is installed on their servers. You see they have somehow achieved both php 4. This poses an issue when it comes to Joomla! Because it automatically uses the php 4. 0 were installed and being utilized.

2 more weeks of classes then graduation! Right after that, finals! Weird to graduate and have finals afterward, but it is what it is. Getting all my projects, papers, and misc work done this week and next. The Start of Something New. So I have decided to drop my WDMD 346 class but since I have this free blog press I thought why not continue to blog every now and then. I guess its just a way for me to get my thoughts down without posting it all over facebook or myspace.
A lot of things actually went really well. I found I had a lot of fun using my experience with developing to edit the template to exactly how I wanted it. Once I figured out the basics of Joomla! In the future I would definitely find a lot of content to use first. The lack of content was hardest part of the whole project. Overall, working with Joomla! All good things come to an end. It is very simple to install, only takes 2-3 minutes to set-up and when you done your sit.
Getting Dirty With WDMD! There is nothing that I think I would change about my project. It turned out great in my eyes and was better than I would ever had imagined. It has a bunch of great features and I think people would really like it if they joined. Overall I would give myself an A, but I guess we will have to see.
