It wasnt until we had the discussion of whether or not we should continue to have signs posted that I decided I had to go to the trail. Where you park your car is where Shermans command post was well a 14 of a mile to the left. Exactly why I love running here. Then you reach this creepy part in the woods and cross a creepy bridge.PARSED CONTENT

I spent making chalk dust a prepping my canvas for the self portrait. I began using the erasing technique on the charcoal paper. I try to focus and make it a meditative routine with relaxing slow paced music. I began with the whitest white spot on the tip of my nose and worked out from that with value changes of the shapes of the shadows.

A Visual Thinking blog exploring art. I had a friend in this class last semester and I saw her self portrait. I remember thinking that it was such a cool idea to reveal the picture by erasing.
