The first time l read this poem l thought it was stupid and then when l read it a second and third time that is when l finally got the deeper meaning of the poem. l like the tone of the poem because l believe it is sacastic because in the end it says that they cannot live without each other but all the time she was talking about how she hates her partner.

What You Pawn, I Will Redeem. The Location of the River. The man, Benjamin Foster, spends the rest of his days writing about the river, researching the river, and trying to find out what happened to it. Eventually, he drives himself crazy trying to determine where it went.
