Sunday, August 17, 2014. Fort Stevens and Sauvie Island. Sauvie Island is about 45 minutes away and is a great place to play in the warm river water while enjoying a nice sandy beach. Its a great alternative to the freezing cold waters of the ocean! We went with some friends and had a great time! You can also watch some of these huge barges float by. Spent a day exploring Astoria. These sea lions were pretty funny! This is pure goodness here! My piano stud.
But mostly Addison and Averie. We just finished up swim lessons for the summer. Since Addi was two and Averie was three, they have taken swim lessons every summer at The Riverplex. They both did a great job and enjoyed themselves. She said we were the first Pepperells she had ever met. She gave us some information about the town and then took us to the attic .
