Friday, August 7, 2015. This is my grandmother on her 100th birthday. She lived to be 104 years old. But she, like my other grandmother and my mom, knew how to use fabric and yarn to make things. Her favorite was to crochet baby sweaters, hats and booties. I suppose sewing and other fiber arts are fading away.
