Friday, July 31, 2015. The Sequalitchew creek runs through DuPont down to Puget Sound through a beautiful gorge. I just found out about the trail a few weeks ago, and we had to go check it out. It starts just behind the DuPont City Hall. This deer checked us out for a while and then ambled casually across the trail. The trail is paved for part of the way and then goes back to gravel again.

Posted on January 17, 2008. This 100 meters high dam has created a reservoir of nearly 350 sq. of water at the confluence of the Walawe Ganga and Belihuloya. This dam was completed in 1991 by the Japanese contractors. The power station of the hydroelectric project which has a capacity of 120 MW is located about 6 kilometers from the dam at Kapugala.
