Reflections on family, teaching, travel, and life. As a school we are participating in a five-year-long project to remember the fallen of the Great War. Names are projected on the wall, and include victims from all the warring nations. This fall we honour the thousands who died one hundred years ago, in 1914. After the war a military hospital was built in Vancouver, and many of the men who lived out their lives there were gas victims.
