Tour of the Art Room. Kindergarten made Story Quilts inspired by Faith Ringgold. They illustrated a story about themselves and pieces fabric squares around their illustrations. 2nd grade wove paper kimonos based on Japanese kimonos.
Tuesday, February 24, 2015. No Fail Acrylic Painting on Canvas. It was fun! I held a special Modern Art Masterpiece. Class at No Corner Suns. Art Studio on MLK day. I had seen this little idea on Pinterest. Using masking tape to mask off a canvas, and painting over it, and thought that would be a fun thing to try. A fun thing to try. Monday, February 23, 2015.
Jessica and I caught a break in the weather yesterday and took a sweet bike ride downtown. We hit the road just before noon. Once on the path, we were cookin! I had no idea how easy it is to get to Strange by bicycle! I might have to come back! Our path was flooded! Jessica su.
