It is the most awesome quiet city and i really enjoyed my time there. I had a couple of trips out from Salta to some places called San Antonio de los Cobres and Cafayate. Cafayate is a wine making area. Their best wine is torrontés, a crisp, white wine. Buenos Aires is an amazing city. I was really lucky because I was there duri.
